Your complimentary 15-minute studio session begins with one professionally captured portrait. Fall in love with it? Purchase that first digital image starting at $40, then choose from additional images, collections, prints, and wall art through your online gallery. There is never any obligation to purchase more than you love.

The Signature Session allows plenty of time for multiple poses, outfit changes, family combinations, and a relaxed experience that captures genuine moments. Whether you're celebrating a milestone or updating family portraits, this session offers the flexibility to create a beautiful gallery you'll love.

Signature Newborn
Newborn sessions are designed to be slow, relaxed, and completely baby-led.
We'll allow plenty of time for feeding, soothing, diaper changes, and cuddles while creating timeless portraits of your newest family member. Parents and siblings are always welcome to participate.
Every newborn session is customized to create a soft, classic collection you'll cherish forever.
Session Length: Approximately 2–3 Hours
Maternity Session
Celebrate one of life's most beautiful milestones with elegant maternity portraits that capture the excitement of welcoming your little one.
Whether you prefer timeless studio portraits or a more modern editorial style, we'll create images that highlight this special season in your life.
Partners and children are welcome to join for a portion of the session.

Digital images are purchased separately unless included with your session. Individual images start at $40, with discounted digital collections available.
Additional Guests
Sessions include up to 6 people. Additional guests are $25 per person, with a maximum of 10 people per session.
Pets - ALL PETS MUST BE PRE-APPROVED BEFORE SESSION
Pets are welcome! A $25 fee per pet applies.
Prints & Wall Art
Professional prints, canvases, and wall art are available for purchase through your gallery. Pricing varies by size and product. Packages are available in store.
Additional Retouching
Standard editing is included with purchased images. Additional or custom retouching is available starting at $15 per image.
Late Cancellations & No-Shows
A card is required to reserve your appointment. A $50 fee applies to late cancellations and missed appointments. Please arrive/check in 15 minutes before for your session time.

Where are you located?
The Portrait Room Studios is located at 1924 Grant Street, Suite #9, Concord, CA, in Downtown Concord. Exact arrival and access instructions will be included in your booking confirmation.
Is the studio appointment-only?
Yes. The Portrait Room Studios is an appointment-only portrait studio. Please book your session in advance through our website.
Is the studio accessible?
Our studio is located on the second floor and is accessible by stairs only. Unfortunately, there is no elevator access. Please contact us before booking if you have accessibility concerns.
Where should I park?
Parking is available in the surrounding Downtown Concord area. There is garage parking available at

DO YOU RETOUCH PHOTOS?
Yes. Standard editing is included with purchased edited images. More extensive retouching or custom edits may be available for an additional fee.
What should I expect when I arrive?
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled session time. Sessions are scheduled back-to-back, so early studio entry may not always be available, but arriving 15 minutes early helps ensure you are ready to begin at your scheduled time.
FAQ
How does pricing work?
Session pricing and image inclusions vary by package. Some sessions include a set number of edited digital images, while promotional sessions allow you to purchase images separately after your shoot. There are no surprise purchase requirements — everything included with your session is clearly listed before you book.
Do you provide RAW/unedited images?
NO. RAW or unedited images are not included with any session and are not provided to clients. As the photographer and artist, I carefully select which images represent my work and which photographs are included in your final gallery.
Your gallery will contain the best images from your session, professionally selected and edited in The Portrait Room Studios style. Requests for additional retouching, alternate edits, or images outside of the final gallery may be available for an additional fee.
RAW images are not released—no exceptions. In rare circumstances, a full RAW-file buyout may be considered at the studio’s discretion and would be priced at a substantial premium.
How many people can I bring?
Most sessions include up to 6 people. Additional guests are $25 per person, with a maximum of 8 people total, unless otherwise specified for your session.
Can I bring my pet?
Pets are welcome for select sessions with advance approval only. Because some clients and staff may have pet allergies, we need notice ahead of time so we can properly prepare and sanitize the studio. A $25 pet fee per pet applies.
Do not bring an unapproved pet to your session. Pets that were not disclosed and approved in advance may be refused entry, and your session may need to be canceled or rescheduled.
How will I receive my photos?
Your images will be delivered through a private online gallery where you can view and purchase available digital downloads, prints, and collections.
How quickly will I receive my gallery?
Most galleries are delivered within approximately 48 hours after your session. Specialty sessions or extensive editing may require additional time.
Can I purchase prints?
Yes. Professional prints, enlargements, canvases, and print collections will be available through your online gallery.
Can I print my digital photos myself?
Purchased high-resolution digital downloads include personal printing rights. For the best color and quality, professional printing is recommended.
Can I change outfits during my session?
Yes, depending on the length of your session. Mini sessions are designed to move quickly, while 30- and 60-minute sessions allow more flexibility for outfit changes and different looks.
Can I bring props?
Absolutely. Small personal props are welcome. If you’re planning something large, messy, or unusual, contact the studio before your session.
What happens if I’m late?
Because appointments are scheduled within specific time slots, arriving late may reduce your available photography time. Sessions generally cannot be extended when another appointment follows yours.
What is your cancellation/no-show policy?
Cancellation and rescheduling requirements will be provided during booking. Some promotional sessions require a card on file and may include a $50 no-show or late-cancellation fee.
Do you offer walk-ins?
No. All sessions are by appointment so that the studio can be prepared specifically for you.
Can I reschedule?
Yes, subject to the cancellation/rescheduling terms for your booking. As much advance notice as possible is appreciated.
Why is there a $0 session option?
Our promotional mini session gives you the opportunity to experience The Portrait Room Studios without paying a traditional session fee. After your session, you’ll receive a private gallery where you can purchase only the images and products you love.
Can I purchase additional images later?
Yes, while your gallery remains active. Gallery expiration dates will be included when your images are delivered.
